Gumfreston Hotel - Accessibility

Taxi transport can be arranged from Rail or Bus station if prior notice given.
Car parking approx 30 yards from hotel. Rectory car park at £2 (9am-9pm), £1 (6pm-9am) or £12 per week. Special rates for longer stays available.

There is no lift.
3 steps from pavement to front entrance (82cm wide). 3 rd step is metal door seal 5cm high.
Twin room and 3 double rooms 1 st floor from entrance up 17 stairs (66cm wide).
Family room sleeping 5 guests, and two double rooms, one step down through dining room (66cm wide) and then up 16 steps to first floor (65cm wide).
Remaining Single room and Family room sleeping 4 guests up 15 stairs to 2 nd floor.
Bar in basement down 12 steps including one step into the dining room if coming from main entrance side of hotel. (Entrance to bar stairs 53cm wide).
1 step up to all showers. Family room sleeping 4 guests has shower attachment over in bath.

Optimise website to follow guidelines provided by the Web Accessibility Initiative, CAST, RNIB and IBM Research Labs. This will include special hidden levels of navigation designed to improve access for text readers and additional accessibility features such as user control over the interface colours. (There will remain some pages provided by external sources that are not fully accessible.)
Replace patterned carpet in lounge, room 2, 5 and 8.

Fire escape access from bar: 73cm wide access up 1 step narrowing to 61cm wide at 2nd door. 12 steps up to 3rd door offering 70cm wide access.
